In mid-October, we organized Topdek workshops once again. We provide not only course materials in the form of clear instruction manuals, but also hands-on training, where participants practice themselves. It’s always wonderful to see how enthusiastic they are to start learning the trade. Last time, we went to Germany; this time, we visited locations in Belgium and France. A workshop was also organized at our workshop in Lelystad.
During the workshop, participants learn, among other things, how to make a Topdek panel using a mold. This requires a lot of precision. The parts need to be accurately measured, and the welding work requires some practice to be done neatly. The workshops were held at Shipyard Lowyck in Ostend, Belgium, and at Axe Sail in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, France. Afterwards, all participants could get started with their trial packages.
